Dave is a lifelong San Diegan who attended UCSD and received a BS in Electrical Engineering in 2005. Upon finishing college, Dave joined the High Tech High family at HTHI and has helped start HTHCV in 2007, HTMCV/HTECV in 2011, and the Mesa campus in 2018 & 2019.

He is proud to be going into his 21st year with High Tech High and has enjoyed learning a lot from and supporting students and teachers in their amazing work. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his family, travel, go to the beach, hike/camp, eat lots of food, play poker and root for the Padres in his favorite city in the world, San Diego.
