Greetings! I’m from Northern California and was raised in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains where my love of nature and the environment was cultivated. I’ve lived in San Diego since 2008 and absolutely enjoy everything about this city. I attended UC San Diego for History and then San Diego State University for more History in a graduate program. I had the opportunity to head back to UC San Diego to teach academic writing courses full time to university students at Warren College Writing Program for 5 years. I joined HTH in 2025 as an Education Specialist and bring a lens of inclusion, equity, UDL, and supporting all students. In my free time, I enjoy reading paper books & audiobooks, gardening, karaoke, volunteering, building community, listening to music, and watching movies. I like cats and dogs.
