Hello everyone! I was born and raised in Texas, where I earned a B.A. in Theatre with minors in History and Economics at the University of North Texas. There I joined Alpha Psi Omega, an honors organization whose motto, “Seek a life useful,” still guides me today. After graduating, I tried on an eclectic wardrobe of roles—from investment banker to certified clown (yes, clown school was a blast!), before trading Texas heat for California’s ocean breeze and sandy trails.
Out west, I found my true calling: supporting exceptional children. Whether I’m providing specialized instruction, creating accommodations, or opening doors to inclusive classrooms, I aim to ensure every student with a disability has the tools to thrive alongside their peers and make a meaningful impact on their community.
When the school day ends, you’ll likely find me hiking coastal paths with my spirited rescue dog, volunteering at the local library, or checking in on my tortoise, Shelley—named after fellow Texas icon Shelley Duvall. Together, we prove that life is richest when curiosity, service, and play walk hand in hand.
