Hi everyone! My name is Rodrigo Medina, and I was born and raised in Southern California. After spending over a decade in advertising, media planning and sales, I discovered a new passion for education. I teach 12th-grade at High Tech High Chula Vista, where I hope to help students see mathematics as a way to understand and navigate the world around them.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy surfing, backpacking, rock climbing, camping, and exploring the outdoors with my wife and our two dogs. I believe meaningful learning happens when we embrace challenges, stay curious and step outside (quite literally) our comfort zones.
