Dear High Tech Explorer Community,
I’m thrilled to be joining the team at High Tech Elementary Explorer as the Transitional Kindergarten teacher for the new classroom this year! Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in more than 55 schools across San Diego Unified as a substitute teacher, as well as in three districts on the Central Coast. I grew up in Santa Barbara, attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and moved to San Diego two years ago to begin my teaching journey. I’m now excited to put down roots in a permanent role where I can build lasting relationships with students, families, and colleagues. My goal is to meet the unique needs of every child by nurturing the whole child—emotionally, socially, and academically. I strive to create a safe, caring, and equitable classroom environment that integrates social-emotional learning into a play- and project-based curriculum. I look forward to growing alongside this community and am eager to collaborate with all of you—students, families, and staff alike.
