We’re overjoyed to welcome our youngest learners to the High Tech High family! This fall, we launched our very first Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program at the Point Loma village, and it’s already sparking joy, curiosity, and creativity in our littlest explorers.
At High Tech High, we believe learning should be an adventure—and now we’re bringing that spirit to our youngest students. Our TK program is designed to ignite creativity, foster hands-on exploration, and inspire endless discovery. With innovative classrooms, supportive teachers, and a vibrant community, there’s no better place for your child to begin their educational journey.
As Melissa Han, site director at High Tech Elementary Explorer, describes it:
“Transitional Kindergarten is pure joy, and play, and fun. If you were to come into our Transitional Kindergarten classroom, you would see our amazing students sharing, taking turns, asking questions, and building things that you couldn’t even dream of. Curiosity is just explosive in Transitional Kindergarten.”
Our TK program is off to an inspiring start at High Tech Elementary Explorer and High Tech Elementary, with plans to expand to more campuses in the future. Each classroom is led by credentialed educators who meet California’s
requirements in early childhood development, ensuring your child is guided by skilled and caring professionals.
In Transitional Kindergarten at High Tech High, every day is an opportunity to create, explore, and grow in a nurturing environment that supports social, emotional, and academic development.
