Alex is very excited to be joining the HTeCV community for her fifth year of teaching! After graduating from San Diego State University with a Bachelors degree in Liberal Studies, Alex started as a first grade Academic Coach at HTe in Point Loma in 2017. From there, she joined the GSE in their District Intern program and obtained her Multiple Subject Credential in 2020, with the help of her wonderful mentors and co-teachers. Alex has experience teaching first and second grade and is excited to take on kindergarten for the first time! In her free time, you can find Alex tap dancing, somewhere outdoors, or watching fun (and terrible!) movies with her fiance, Matt, and her pup, Risa.
