I am excited to be back as the 8th grade Maker teacher this year! My goals as an educator are to support students making things with tools, technology and maker techniques to develop and expand their creativity and craftsmanship through projects. I have been teaching for 24 years in a variety of contexts, including art museums and cultural institutions and have been teaching at HTH since 2011. I was a founding faculty member of HTeCV, HTH’s first elementary school. I am also a practicing studio artist and have had exhibitions of my work in galleries and museums since 2008. When I’m not at school, you can find me cooking, gardening, sailing, traveling and spending time with my daughter.
