Hi, my name is Citlalli Hernandez, though many students know me as Ms. Cici or Coach Cici. I am an alumna of both High Tech Middle Chula Vista and High Tech High Chula Vista, graduating from High Tech in 2019. I attended San Diego Mesa Community College for three years before transferring to SDSU in 2022, where I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences in 2024.

I have been employed at High Tech Chula Vista since the fall of 2019. I began coaching archery during my senior year of high school and have continued coaching at the middle and high school levels ever since. It’s been amazing to watch the program grow over the years, and I am excited to see it continue thriving!

I’ve also run two different businesses in recent years. I previously sold Mexican artesanía, including sombreros, blouses, headbands, backpacks, purses, wallets, and more. Currently, I run an archery program called Humble Archers, which caters to different age groups.

I love exploring new things, especially trying new foods and traveling. Slowly but surely, I’m traveling more and more. I have a big sweet tooth and particularly love sour candy, with sour strips being my favorite. I’ve discovered a love for baking and I enjoy making food from different cultures outside of my own. I enjoy being outdoor; running, swimming, hiking, walking. I am very family oriented and love being with my family and building memories <3
