Hello friends, my name is Ms. Jeanine and I am thrilled to be teaching 2nd Grade again this year! I am grateful to continue to call High Tech Elementary Chula Vista home since 2012, with its beautiful atmosphere of community, innovation, and meaningful learning – it truly is an amazing place that inspires me every day!

I have taught Kindergarten and STEAM here at HTeCV in the past, and I have a passion for all things science and nature related. I was born and raised right here in lovely San Diego. I have a B.S. in Biology from University of California, San Diego and earned my teaching credential from San Diego State University. I have always loved our vibrant city, full of diverse cultures, languages, and so many things to do! I especially love the amazing natural spaces San Diego has to offer. I try to get outdoors to take advantage of that as much as possible – and I hope to inspire my students and families to do the same through our projects this year! I grew up next to the ocean and have never been able to drift too far from it. When I am not at school, you might catch me and my family enjoying San Diego’s hiking trails, hanging by the beach, listening to live music, or traveling around our big, blue, beautiful planet!
