Hi! My name is Jordan Hanna and I am so excited to join the HTe Team! I just moved to San Diego from Seattle, where I taught for nine years. I am a strong advocate for racial equity, STEAM, and providing advanced learning opportunities to all students. I push integrity, leadership, and accountability in my classroom and encourage students to self-advocate for their learning. I want each of my students to feel respected, confident, and empowered.

I graduated from San Diego State with a BA in Sociology and from UC Irvine with a MA in Teaching. I grew up in Seattle swimming competitively, playing board games, cooking, and hiking with my family. I now compete in Masters Rowing and Orange Theory, enjoy gardening and growing my plant collection, snuggling my two kitties, Leo and Bella, and body surfing in the beautiful ocean!
