Hi everyone! I was born and raised here in San Diego and can’t imagine a better city to call home. I earned my Bachelors degree in Child Adolescent Development at San Francisco State University. While I was in school I was a gymnastics coach and that is where I found my love for teaching. After graduating I was a preschool teacher for 3 years before my now husband and I decided we needed a change of scenery. So we decided to make a move to Austin, Texas. While in Texas I got my teaching certification and taught grades 1-3rd and 5th grade math and science. After 10 years, I am so happy to be back in San Diego and to be at HTe as a 4th grade teacher. In my free time I love to travel, spend time with my dog Ashbury, paddle board, and spend time in the sun!
