Hello! My name is Miranda Colvin, but some of my favorite people call me Miss Miranda. San Diego has always been my home, and I am so happy to be teaching in my community! I received my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Redlands, where I focused on human development. Before coming to High Tech, I worked in Special Education which led to my passion for creating an inclusive classroom for all learners. I received my Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning from the High Tech Graduate School of Education. The foundations of my classroom culture are rooted in curiosity, empathy, kindness, and community. As a teacher, my goal is to foster a lifelong love of learning in my students. Outside of work, I enjoy learning new things, exploring outdoors, and spending time with friends and family!
