Contrary to what you may have heard on Oprah, not only do High Tech High students read books, but they actually produce books too. HTH students and faculty publish their work on websites and in books, because we believe that an important step in the learning process is presenting one’s work to an authentic audience. It is also how we hold ourselves accountable for the work that we do. Help the High Tech High accountability effort by purchasing books below.

A bilingual multicultural cookbook made possible by the work of a 23 10th grade students at HTH in San Diego, CA. Each student contributed at least one special recipe from their family or community.

“Beginning to Teach: An Inquiry Into the Art and Science of Learning” is the effort to publish new teachers’ inquiry with the goal to spread that teachers are pushing the edge of knowledge forward.

SD County Birds and Native Plants: A Third Grade Field Guide Room 8 – The 3rd grade students of Room 8 at Explorer Elementary created this field guide of San Diego native plants and local birds.

In Differentiation and Project Based Learning, HTH GSE Teacher Leadership program alum Wendie Ward explores how differentiation techniques can compliment project based learning (PBL).

Cruzando Fronteras: Crossing Borders through Bilingual Poetry is a poetry anthology by freshman Spanish students at HTH which explores the theme of crossing borders through art and spoken word poetry.

Labels DECLASSIFIED: The Truth Behind Your Products is an illustrated product guide by 6th grade students that investigates ingredients inside of some of our favorite food and personal care products.
