HTH students and faculty publish their work on websites and in books, because we believe that an important step in the learning process is presenting one’s work to an authentic audience. Alphabet Soup: The A-Z of Cell Biology, has a cell biology terms for each letter of the alphabet. The whole book was researched, designed, edited, illustrated, and refined by Jenny Morris’s bio class.

M is for Maya is an alphabet book based on the Maya culture that was written, illustrated, and translated by the students of Ms. Riley’s Seventh Grade Class at High Tech Middle School.

Labels DECLASSIFIED: The Truth Behind Your Products is an illustrated product guide by 6th grade students that investigates ingredients inside of some of our favorite food and personal care products.

In Creating a Community of Communicators: An Action Research Project, a story is told about a middle school class that learns better communication skills over a year.

In Sharing the Heart of Our Stories: A Digital Storytelling Journey, the implications of using digital storytelling to engage students in sharing personal stories in the classroom are shared.
